Job requirements
- Detecting, documenting, and tracking defects in the mobile game;
- Working with test documentation: writing, updating in Confluence;
- Interacting with developers, game designers, and the art department to communicate information about identified issues, bugs, and discrepancies;
- Participating in feature lifecycle, starting from early stages: reviewing GDD, testing new features, patches, and game updates;
- Compatibility and resolution testing: checking the game on various devices, screen resolutions, and platforms;
- Tracking and analyzing feedback from players and users to identify trends, frequently asked questions, and issues;
- Working with testing platforms: uploading the game to test platforms, ensuring its proper functioning, and tracking deployment-related issues;
- Collaborating with the quality improvement team;
- Enhancing the QA process: implementing and adhering to best practices to improve the efficiency of the QA process.
Professional Skills
- Knowledge of testing theory, ability to apply it in practice;
- Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS, Android);
- Experience in conducting load testing;
- Experience in API testing;
- Experience working with task trackers;
- Understanding of agile development processes (Agile, Scrum, etc.);
- Understanding of client-server interaction principles;
- Experience with automated testing – is a plus!
- Passion for games in general 🙂
